Moment offers two exciting tools to automate your subscriptions or instalment payments - “no code” subscription links you can create via the Moment client portal, or our API-based platform to give your business full control of creating and managing subscriptions.

Instant subscription links and instalment plans

By logging into Moment’s portal, your team can create a custom payment plan for your customers - configuring the payment amount, due date, duration and more, and send out a link to let your customers opt-in to the plan and add their preferred card or Capitec account, via recurring Capitec VRP.

Once your customer has consented to the payment plan, Moment records the mandate and the subscription is active. Moment will automatically collect payment on the terms you’ve agreed with your customer.

You can track repayments via Client Portal in real time and via Moment’s daily reports, so you are always on top of your revenue, without writing a line of code.

APIs for Full Control

If you have more sophisticated needs, you can use Moment’s Subscriptions API to collect a mandate from your customers, initiate the first payment (now or later), and then proceed to collect payments automatically based on the agreed mandate. Real-time webhooks report every attempted and successful payment, and changes in the state of your subscriptions base, so your system always knows where a subscription stands without polling.
